Fisherman’s Wharf is located at the first and second fishing port of Magong city. It has been developed and transformed from the original commercial district at the fishing port.

Having combined fishery and tourism, Fisherman’s Wharf has become a coastal re-development district with distinctive characteristics of local industries, bearing great economic potential. Together with the Fishery Association’s Fishery Product Direct Selling
Center, which is a ship-shaped building, the first and second fishing port is composed of the multi-functional Fishermen’s Wharf District which not only has a fishery production replenishment industry, but also provides visitors with a seaside wooden walking
path, and romantic street lamps at night. Visitors can also enjoy watching the operation of ships and vessels as well as outdoor music and cultural performances carried out by local residents in order to celebrate the reconstruction of the local community.
Come walk along the seaside wooden walking path with the night scene of the coastline then enjoy shopping at the tourist market while listening to musical performances. Being surrounded by glamorous night lights, you will definitely be fascinated by the charm
of Fisherman’s Wharf.

The No. 1 Fishing Port outdoor recreation gallery near the artistically painted wall of the ice plant is jointly built by the Bureau of Energy, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Penghu County Government via solar energy in order to reduce carbon dioxide
emissions. The goal is to make the fishing port environmentally friendly and to showcase its elegant leisure facilities.

At the other side, the prominent "Mother of the Sea" sculpture stands at the No. 1 Fishing Port. The sculpture is filled with fish and wavy lines to symbolize the endless port cargo and ocean resources.

To promote the gradual transformation of the No. 1 Fishing Port into a leisure and recreation-oriented tourist port, inspire international tourists to visit Magong, and drive the business prosperity around the port area, Argo Yacht Club signed a Construction
Operation Transfer Case Contract with the Penghu County Government in May 2016 to invest in the construction of the "Penghu Argo Yacht Club" in hopes of turning the place into a Magong tourist attraction. The goal is to create a clustering effect and shape
Penghu into a unique image of the most beautiful bay in the world.

The investment by Yaguo Yacht Club has given a new look to the Fisherman's Wharf. The painted oil tanks have given a more lively and interesting look behind the backdrop of countless beautiful yachts. Visitors have more choices on how to travel to Penghu. The
brand new yacht sightseeing development in conjunction with the natural topography and ocean scenery advantages of Penghu are sure to create a more refreshing and internationalized Penghu leisure tourism culture.
