Pengpeng Beach
Pengpeng Beach is located in Baisha Village, Penghu County just like its cute name, area of beach is not large that about 10 minutes only spent if talking a walk here. This is because Pengpeng Beach is just a new-born sandbank and the area is under enlarged!
Beach on Pengpeng Beach is very pretty that the bright, white sand with brightly blue water, plus the sunshine, it is more brilliant! What is special is that it is curving in middle of sea and it is not a whole beach if overlooking it from the sky, it
is looking like a big white dragon swimming in the sea hence, Pengpeng Beach has another name, “Living Dragon Island”!
Actually, there is no one on Pengpeng Beach, thus, not many vehicles can go into there that you need to take a boat from North Sea Tourist Service Center and it will take half a hour to 40 minutes. On the way of taking boat to Pengpeng beach, you can
see very beautiful sea scenery and experience feelings of facing the winds and surging that is worth doing so absolutely!
Pengpeng Beach is quite similar with beaches on other Penghu Islands the sand is mainly composed of fragments of coral and there are many seagulls and other kinds of birds taking rest nearby hence, here could be called a paradise of birds! What is special
is that there is no any wharf here, so, after the boat arriving land, tourists can experience how does landing beach feel! It is also a very special and precious experience!
