A tranquil beach is located in Chihma Village beside Beihuan 203 County Highway.
Enter the alley across Chihma Fantao Temple and head to the end of it, where you will see the ocean and an extensive beach. The sand is soft here and a broad beach is revealed as the tide ebbs.
As the sand is fine in Chihma Beach, it is a perfect place to enjoy playing on the beach. When the sun goes down, this beach is also a great spot to watch the sunset. The golden sand on the beach under the sunshine is the most attractive feature of beaches in Penghu. We can watch the setting sun and children playing on the beach while lying down to take all the stress out of the way.Visitors are able to enjoy the scenic beauty of the sunset in the twilight, the red sky and the golden beach. Several dramas were even filmed here.
A small pavilion stands on the dike of the port to add shade, where we can enjoy the ocean view without burning sunlight.
There was a wooden walkway, Chihma Western Walkway, near to the pavilion and people could walk along it to Neian. However, destruction was caused by the weather and wind to the walkway, and thus it is impassable now.
