The design of the display in Green Turtle Tourism and Conservation Center is based on the concept of immersiveness, providing visitors with an educational environment which not only offers them a sensational experience but also knowledge.
Wang-an’s nature is fully captured inside of the conservation center, including the famous terns and other protected lives. But most importantly, the stars of this center are the green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas). The different varieties of turtles, their
characteristics and their habitats are introduced in details. The exhibitions also include sea turtles’ in local culture, such as the Penghu-only prayer ceremony called Spring Flour Turtle Festival , marine ecology, history and culture.
