Yueli Bay is a small natural bay in the form of a crescent moon. As a port for inshore fishing at the initial stage in Cimei, only a small and simple Li Port on the south side is left. The bay is visible from the curved slope just passing the radar station on the wayside of the coast road. The well-formed basalt terrain around the bay is magnificent and diversified. Abrasion landforms are very common here.
Basalts are the major geology in this area. The sandy beach is an accumulation of white coral fragments. The dark basalts and the pure white coral fragments form an impressive contract on the sandy beach.
The Yueli Bay water play area is the only area in Cimei where people can play in the water. Since there is no industry on Cimei Island, the water is clean and clear with abundant corals and rich and diverse marine life. The water area is shallow and safe. Many tourists come here to experience snorkeling. Professional coaches lead them to observe submarine ecology and see tropical fishes swimming freely through densely growing corals. This is an experience that cannot be missed.
