It is a “dog’s paradise” specifically planned for pets by the county government with over NT$2 million. The Pet Park sits in the coastal area with a spacious view, and the Penghu Great Bridge and Xiyu Island are in sight, comfortable and pleasant. It is an
exercise and play venue for pet dogs and a paradise for interactions for your pet dogs.
Occupying an area of 0.2 hectares, the park is divided into the large dog section and small dog section to effectively separate the activity range of dogs in different sizes. Dogs under 9kg are considered as small dogs, while dogs over this weight are considered
as large dogs. Dog owners are recommended to take their dogs to the suitable section where there are facilities including culverts, mounds, safety fences for dogs to amuse themselves and to protect them from losing their way or pumping into carriageways to
cause accidents.
Owners can prepare toys, such as balls or flying saucers, to enjoy fun with their pets or sit on the stone benches on the sides to watch the ocean vista with their dogs.
There are three dog dropping bins and dropping bags in the park for owners to pick up the droppings of their dogs to keep the environment clean. A good facility requires our maintenance by together.
