Magong Caiyuan has always been an oyster farming stronghold in Penghu. It was really a shame that mountains of oyster shells were piled up at the nearby abandoned fish ponds.So in early 2016, the Penghu National Scenic Administration organized the abandoned fish ponds into a new tourist attractions: the 3D Painting of Lover's Bay. The latest 3D painting techniques are used to paint surfboards, sharks, sea turtles, and other marineanimals. The floor contains a 3D dinosaur cave painting, and the word "LOVE" is painted on the wall to create the latest image of Caiyuan. The main focus of the 3D painting for Lover's Bay is the huge 3D "LOVE" on the wall. If you take a closer look, you'll find little secrets in the "LOVE" fonts. To reflect the geographical environment of the original abandoned fish ponds, a lot of blue fishand other aquatic creatures have been painted into the "LOVE" fonts, which looks romantic, dynamic, and heartwarming.Behind the "LOVE" fonts are colorful painted balloons that will surely attract everyone's attention. When you sit on the 3D painted chair, it's as if you are floating into the air and soaring freely like an eagle. The green turtle at the side appears to beswimming out of the wall.In 2017, foreign traveler and art teacher Jing-Xiang Xu was invited to paint the 3D art piece "Penghu Blessing". Emphasizing the ancient architectural culture of Penghu, a closer look reveals that the stone windows of the old building appear to depict a metaphoricalbat with the word "Peng" in "Penghu Blessing". The delicate depiction and profound meaning express the prayers of the Penghu people. "Penghu Blessing" refers to the blessings bestowed upon Penghu.
