The Chihkan Cactus Park is located at the Chihkan Wharf just behind the parking area of the North Sea Visitor Center. A crag at a height of about a 3-story building stands here. Since the crag is high, no people pick the fruits of cactus here and the gorgeous cactus plants and their fruits are preserved more completely in the Park.
Special weathered rocks are also preserved in the Chihkan Cactus Park. A pavilion and a plank trail are designed here. Tourists can walk through the trails up to the top of the Park and enjoy the fantastic cactus landscape. The pavilion on the top is a good place for relaxing in a gentle breeze and look far away into the sea area on the north.
When passing by Beihuan or waiting for the boat at the North Sea Visitor Center, don’t forget to come here and take a look at the complete cactus clusters and relax at the pavilion in the beautiful seascape.
The Chihkan Beach is located in front of the Chihkan Cactus Park. This is a beach of coral and shell fragments. Since only a few people come to this place, the beach is very clean. It was a scene from the new film of Richie Jen.
