Chengqian Beach is located in Chengqian Village, Paisha Township, sitting behind the inner waters of Penghu.

As a low-lying area, Chengqian Beach looks like a crescent moon sitting against the northeastern monsoon, making it one of a few beaches in Penghu receiving less monsoon effect. In addition, a natural coastline and a rich intertidal ecosystem are preserved
due to less human effect. From the beach, visitors can look over Magong City, Zhongtun Windmill Power Park, Xiyu, and Dacang Island.

Composed of shell sand, the beach is comfortable to walk on. As an intertidal zone with a flat gradient, a large area emerges for related activities as the tide falls.

The Chengqian Fishing Harbor sitting aside is not large, and small fishing boats and oyster farming rafts are perching by the shore. When watching the sea view from this point, oyster racks occupying a large area are the foreground. When the tide falls, visitors
can see fully equipped fishermen are busy tidying up the oyster racks. Therefore, oysters in Chengqian and Jiangmei are apparently famous local seafood.

In an unnoticeable corner on Chengqian Beach lies a hook-shaped spit surrounded by the intertidal zone. With a large tidal range of Chengqian Beach, the spit stands alone by the shore awaiting you to step in to explore the intertidal wonder.
